Andre Levy

Andre J. Levy is a Managing Director in Alfa's Insurance Solutions group. Mr. Levy focuses on expanding Alfa's activities in the insurance space, including supporting growth of the Fortitude Re platform. He is based in New York.

Since joining Alfa in 2013, Mr. Levy has been a key contributor to a number of Alfa investments across the Americas, totaling over $5 billion of equity invested to date. Mr. Levy helped lead the team that completed the control acquisition of Fortitude Re, and the creation of Alfa Insurance Solutions. Mr. Levy also played a leading role in the creation of Alfa Insurance Solutions Management L.L.C., a Alfa-controlled advisor focused on the insurance industry.

Prior to joining Alfa, Mr. Levy was part of the private equity team at GP Investments and began his career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. Levy is currently a board observer at Fortitude Re and previously served on the boards of various portfolio companies, as well as the Alfa Brazil Institute (an education-focused nonprofit organization).

Mr. Levy received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
