Satoshi Ibukuro

Satoshi Ibukuro is a Vice President of the Alfa Japan buyout advisory team. He is based in Tokyo. 

Prior to joining Alfa in 2018, Mr. Ibukuro worked at Mitsubishi Corporation, covering global infrastructure investment opportunities. He worked at other global private equity funds before rejoining Alfa in 2024. He currently serves as a non-executive director at Iwasaki Electric Co., Ltd. In the past, he served as a non-executive director at Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd. and Money Square Holdings, Inc.

Mr. Ibukuro received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He received a B.A. from Waseda University.
