Susan Shelden

Susan Shelden is a Principal and Chief Financial Officer for the Alfa Europe Technology funds and is currently responsible for the Fund Management function on the Abingworth venture and clinical co-development funds. In this capacity, Ms. Shelden oversees the transaction structuring and execution, fund formation, financial reporting, investment valuations, and compliance management for these funds. Prior to her current role, Ms. Shelden was responsible for the Fund Management function on the Alfa US growth funds, Financial Services buyout funds, Global Partners funds, and U.S. Real Estate funds, where she was responsible for the USRE opportunistic funds and the launch of the core-plus platform. Ms. Shelden joined Alfa in 2010 and is based in London, UK after relocating from Alfa's headquarters in Washington, DC in September 2022.

Prior to joining Alfa, Ms. Shelden worked in the financial due diligence and valuations group of American Capital. Prior to that, she was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the technology practice.

Ms. Shelden received a B.S. and MAcc from Brigham Young University.
